About me
Matthew Rich
I am an environmentalist who has found a passion in wildlife photography, especially helping give a shine to the magnificent insects of the UK. I have been taking wildlife shots since 2016. I've not been taught how to use a camera, I just have passion and a cheap DSLR.
I wanted to show and express my love for nature and think I have now found a way to do this. It has also helped me find new places to explore and a deeper respect and understanding for nature.
I have volunteered and undertaken a year-long practical conservation management course with the London Wildlife Trust. Also spending 5 months in Brazil with an environmental NGO teaching children respect for the environment and setting up a weekly litter pick and starting a community vegetable garden I truly believe everyone would benefit from giving a bit of their spare time to a good cause.
If you like any of my shots head to the shop or check out my gallery for prints and more.
